Our main aim is to continue maintaining a very good level of quality in our products and keeping the best customer service as possible.
URLAPESCA, S.A. is a family company established in February 1.980, as a continuation to the company established by Mrs. Maria Cruz Larrinaga in the year 1.971, which died in the year 2013, with the name “Pescados Larrinaga” which later on took the name of “Pescados Vda. de Urkiri”.
The company was founded by Mrs. Maria Cruz and her sons, and therefore the society URLAPESCA takes its name from the initials of the two last names of her sons “UR” from Urkiri and “LA” from Larrinaga before PESCA (fishing).
Initially the activity was only exercised in the port of Ondarroa . Later on, during the eigthies (1.983-1.986) the company built the working warehouses and cold storage plants in the "Gardotza" Industrial Area, located in Berriatua. This town is about 1 km. away from the port of Ondarroa.
It is our challenge to continue growing offering the same quality but without forgetting our roots.
